Alan Lepofsky

Alan "LeopLand" Leopfsky was one of the original IBMers to reach out to the Lotus community via a blog. While at IBM Alan held a range of positions including running customer councils, conferences, and working with Business Partners. At one time Alan was head of software strategy. Despite his position at IBM Alan still found time to be a top innovator at ideajam. Alan has been a regular presenter at Lotusphere and various LUGs.

Andre Guirard

Andre is perhaps one of the best known Product Developers at IBM. He has written articles for The View since 1997, been a regular contributor at SearchDomino, was a co-author of the Domino Designer 6 Redbook, has written many articles on Developerworks and given several presentations at Lotusphere. Andre's Web Site posts many great technical tips and he recently added the LotusScript Gold Collection project on OpenNTF.

Andrew Pollack

Andrew is an independent Notes/Domino consultant who has been working with Lotus Notes since 1991. Andrew has also combined his experience as a firefighter and IT professional to develop a communication system for firefighters - Second Signal. In 2003 he was awarded the Lotus Beacon award for his work on producing a secure extranet. Andrew regularly speaks about Domino Administration at Lotusphere.

Bill Buchan

Every community needs a few colorful characters and "Wild" Bill Buchan is one of ours. Bill's unique sense of humor has made his blog site one of the most popular. He was voted a finalist for Best Lotus Blogger in 2008. He has been a prolific presenter at a great many Notes events around the globe. This includes the extremely popular "Worst Practices" presentations co-hosted with Paul Money given at Lotusphere and a great many LUG events.

Bill Ernest

Bill was one of the original Notes pioneers starting way back when with the betas of Notes 1.0! Forget LotusScript v Java, this guy could do it all with @Formula. He single-handedly built the first Notes-based workflow tool called Quality at Work. Bill later spent 10- years at Teamwork Solutions. Bill was a highly regarded member of the Partner Forum and Penumbra Forum. Sadly the yellowverse was to lose Bill in May 2005.
Bob Balaban

At Lotus/Iris/IBM Bob was involved in most of the major programming initiatives for the Lotus Notes environment. Bob developed the back-end class libraries for LotusScript added with Notes 4.0 and also played a major role in adding Java programming to Notes. Bob later formed his own company Looseleaf Software developing extensions for LS. Bob has presented at almost all Lotuspheres since 1993. Geek Ya Later!

Bruce Elgort

Bruce has played a major role in so many Notes community initiatives. He and Nathan T Freeman were co-founders of OpenNTF. Bruce and Julian Robichaux are co-hosts of the Taking Notes podcats. He has also joined forces with Sean Burgess, Jess Stratton, and Carl Tyler on the 1352 Report. Bruce worked with Rocky Oliver to develop the concept of Show N Tell Thursday and more recently he has been involved with the new Xpages Blog.

Carl has been a pioneer in extending Sametime. These skills were recognized with the awarding of an Advisor Magazine Editors Choice award in 2004. Carl is another "yellow boomer" that came to prominence in 2003 thank to the Declan's OpenNTF Blogosphere template racking up 500,000 visits to his site. Carl is a regular presenter at Lotusphere and LUGs where he covers topics such as SameTime and VMWare. Ideajam Top Innovator.

Chris Blatnick

Chris Brandlehner

Chris Toohey

Chris has been a prolific contributor to the yellow bubble over many years. Chris's OpenNTF projects include Abbr, ShowTime, and TimeTracker. He co-hosts the YellowCast podcasts with Tim Tripcony. A regular blogger, Daniel is the "guy who got Domino running on the Microsoft Xbox". Daniel's company, Nash!Com, is a member of the Penumbra Group. Declan Lynch

Declan is perhaps best known as the developer of the OpenNTF Blogsphere template used by many Notes bloggers. It is not surprising therefore to find that Declan has been a long-time blogger in the Notes community with several blog sites. Declan has become a pioneer in the recent introduction of Xpages having produced a 54-part series on his experiences learning Xpages and his next great OpenNTF project Xtalk.

Ed Brill

Perhaps nobdy has done more than Ed Brill to promote a partnership between IBM and the Lotus Notes community. He is an active member in the Notes community via his blog site and twitter. In his role at IBM Ed has been carefully repositioning the Lotus product suite. Thanks to Ed and his team the Lotus brand is on the rise once more and Microsoft now has more than Google to worry about.

Gary Devendorf

Rumour has it that Gary left IBM in 2003 to join Microsoft. But while Gary may have left Lotus, Lotus never really left Gary. While at IBM/Lotus/Iris Gary was a key player behind Domino Designer (the one before DDE), LotusScript, LS:DO, DXL, and Web Services. Still a technology evangalist Gary has pioneered ways to integrate Lotus and MS products such as .Net. And yes, he still attends Lotusphere every year.

Ray Ozzie

Perhaps no-one has given more to the Notes community than the man who gave the community Lotus Notes in the first place, Ray Ozzie! Ray began working on Notes on Dec 7 1984 after signing an agreement with Mitch Kapor. On Dec 7 1989, Notes 1.0 was released by Iris Associates, a company co-founded by Raz Ozzie, Tim Halvorsen, and Len Kawell. Ray remained at the helm of Iris Associates guiding the development of Notes from 1984 to 1997. Ray was named “Person of the Year” in 1995 by PC Magazine.

Rob "Lotus Rock Star" Novak is perhaps best known as an evangelist for Collaboration using Lotus QuickPlace/Quickr. A regular presenter at Lotusphere, Rob has written numerous articles for The View and Lotus Advisor. He co-authored the Deploying QuickPlace Redbook. Rob is president of SNAPPS who provide the Collaboration University events each year in USA/Europe along with a wide range of free Quickr templates.
